members of Congress responsibilities been broadened too much over time away
from their primary goal of legislation?
Objectives
1) Identify the House and Senate leadership and the leadership roles function in the Congress.
2) Identify members of the Congressional Delegation, specifically Senator Lieberman, Senator Blumenthal and Representative Murphy, and compare and contrast their different responsibilities and roles in the Congress.
3) Summarize and analyze different committee types in the House and Senate, specifically standing, subcommittees, select and joint committees.
